Golden Eaglets to play Pepsi Football Academy on Tuesday


Emmanuel Amuneke’s lads will be hoping to extend their unbeaten run to five when they face the Lagos-based football academy in a friendly game on Tuesday

Nigeria national U-17 team will face the Pepsi Football Academy in Lagos on Tuesday evening in a friendly game.The match billed for the Agege Stadium will be the Eaglets’ last game before departing for Togo where they will be expected to feature in the West African Football Union (Wafu) B U-17 championship between April 19 and 27, 2014.

Emmanuel Amuneke’s side is yet to lose a game beating the Nigeria senior female national team 6-0 before beating Yuguda Boys 2-1, College of Football 2-1 and Kwara Football Academy 2-0 in a test game played inside the main bowl of the Kwara Stadium Complex on Sunday.

The Eaglets, hoping to conquer the world again in 2015, have netted 12 goals and conceded just two goals in their last four games.
