Pepsi Football Academy officials had a tough task controlling hundreds of youngsters who thronged the new Yaba center at Abalti Barracks for screening and invitation to join the Pepsi Football Academy.

Though the screening exercise was to begin at 3pm for boys and girls aged 6-14, the youngsters started arriving as early as 1pm, many brought by their parents.

Kasimawo Laloko, Director of the Academy, said the opening of the new centre was a consolidation of the good work Pepsi has been doing, through the football academy, in discovering and nurturing young football talents.

At the end of the screening some 130 youngsters were selected to be invited to join Pepsi Football Academy.
